COMEDY CENTRAL TAPING: We just had comedian Paul F Tompkins shoot his Comedy Central Special at Atlanta's most bad-ass-est comedy club, The Laughing Skull Lounge. That is right, Atlanta's newest and hippest comedy club is where one of comedy's hippest and most popular comedians taped his Comedy Central Special. Why is that you may ask? Because Atlanta's Laughing Skull Lounge has that much kick-assed-ness! Come see for yourself why this little Atlanta comedy club rocks like a mother flim flam! Btw, no other comedy club in Atlanta has EVER had a Comedy Central taping... but yet, we have that credit and only been open six months! And yes, there are talks of other Comedy Central tapings at Atlanta's most awesome-est comedy club!
NATIONAL MEDIA ATTENTION: The Laughing Skull Lounge in Atlanta has had five (5) plugs on Chelsea Lately, a David Letterman plug, and was recently discussed on Howard Stern... not bad for a little Atlanta comedy club that has only been open seven months. Of all the comedy clubs in the world, Atlanta's newest and hippest comedy club is also one of the most awesomest of all comedy clubs in the world! And if you are in Atlanta, you can visit us without getting on an airplane first... unless you want to feel worldly and what has yous.
WHERE WE BE? We are located in Midtown Atlanta in the heart of Atlanta's Midtown Mile, hidden in the back of Atlanta's best burger joint, The Vortex Bar & Grill on Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309.
WHAT UP? The Laughing Skull Lounge is Atlanta's only full-time progressive comedy club... so why visit any of the other comedy clubs? This intimate comedy club setting of only 74 seats, along with today's "hippest" comedians, gives you a comedy experience in Atlanta that you can not find any where else... period! And you can come early or stay late to eat at one of Atlanta's best restaurants... The Vortex has won best burger in Atlanta since 1992 and was recently on The Travel Channel's "Man vs Food" for their double by-pass burger.
